One of the first questions people may have when in need of a criminal lawyer’s assistance is, how much is this going to cost?
We are able to provide you with a free, no-obligation initial consultation in which we can sit down with you and discuss the details of your case. In most instances, a lawyer can quote you a fee based on this initial consultation. This fee is determined by a knowledge of how much work is required to complete the file based on comparable cases we have dealt with in the past. Occasionally, especially with more serious offences, a lawyer will need to wait for more information called disclosure in order to have a better grasp of your case before giving you a quote. Criminal lawyers do not work on a per-hour basis, but rather a fixed fee, giving our clients peace of mind that there will be no surprises as they know the full cost at the beginning of the legal process.
Having to hire a criminal lawyer is not something that is typically planned for, and we understand that. As such, we do offer payment plans to assist our clients and accept payments via electronic transfer, debit, VISA and MasterCard.
